How it works

Everyone starts with Try the Track or Beginner Pathway Level 1 — no experience required. Each level builds on the last, and Track Builders is open to you the whole way through, so you can put new skills straight into practice.

Once all four levels are done, coached Structured Training is the next step. We recommend riding a block of it before you move on to Open Track drop-in — it is the difference between being cleared to ride on your own and being ready to.

Why adults ride here

Fitness with a point

Every session builds a skill, not just a sweat — progress you can feel week to week.

You're never too late

The Beginner Pathway assumes nothing. Riders start in their 20s, their 40s, and their 60s.

Winter, solved

No trainer in the basement. Real riding, all season, at 24°C.

A built-in community

Open track draws riders from every club in the city into one room. Come alone — you won't ride alone.

Your community's home on the track

Once you're certified, the velodrome becomes more than a training venue. Open track and league nights bring together riders from every club in Edmonton — people ride, hang out, and talk bikes. In a winter city with nowhere else to ride together, that's worth as much as the track itself.
