The track

250m, UCI-certified

A full-size, internationally certified indoor track — one of only three in Canada.

Up to 42° banking

Steep enough for genuine speed, and the reason the racing is so thrilling to watch.

The triathlon hub

Swim, bike, run — all under one roof.

The velodrome sits inside the Coronation Park Sports and Recreation Centre, alongside the Peter Hemingway Aquatic Centre — a 50 m, 8-lane pool with hot tub, sauna, steam room, and cold plunge — and a 333 m running track that rings the cycling track one level up. That combination makes Coronation the first indoor triathlon training centre in North America.

It makes Coronation a natural home for triathletes and cross-training athletes. [Note: dedicated triathlon programming is in development — see Programs for what's running now.]
