Your first visit, step by step.

For your first ride, make sure you have a properly fitted helmet (mandatory), athletic clothing, and athletic shoes. That's genuinely all you need.
If you already cycle, bring your kit: helmet, cycling shoes, pedals, and gloves. Either way, pack a water bottle and a snack for energy during breaks. Remember it's about 24°C inside — dress lighter than the Edmonton weather outside.
What we provide
We have rental track bikes in sizes small to large, and helmets provided by Lazer Canada. So if you don't own a track bike — which is almost everyone at their first session — you're covered.
When you arrive
Come 30 minutes early
Arrive at least 30 minutes before your session to check in, get oriented, and warm up. First-timers may need a little extra time for a bike fitting and safety briefing.
Get checked in
Someone will meet you, check you in, and make sure your equipment is set up correctly for your session.
Get fitted
We'll size you to a rental bike and set your position so you're comfortable and in control.
Meet your coach and ride
A coach walks you through the basics on the ground, then onto the track. You'll start low and slow, and build from there.
A quick checklist
