Youth Track School offers an inclusive athlete-development pathway in the velodrome environment, supporting participation, personal growth, and progress from beginner to personal best. Whether recreational, community, or competitive, every student is welcomed — regardless of background or starting point.

Each session covers 20 minutes of agility and off-bike movement followed by 60 minutes of track training.

Program structure

Length

Each Youth Track School runs for 12 weeks

Schedule

Mondays and Wednesdays, 4:30–6:00 pm

Pricing

$420 for both days a week, or $240 for one day a week

2026 sessions

The program launches in January 2026 and runs three sessions across the year:

  • Session 1: January – March 2026
  • Session 2: April – June 2026
  • Session 3: October – December 2026

What riders work on

Sessions build in a natural order — balance, then agility, then speed, then tactics — with plenty of games along the way: chariot races, slow races, and elimination (think musical chairs on bikes). The curriculum draws on Cycling Canada's development models.
