Safety & Etiquite—Rules of the Track

At all times on the track, even if you are not on your bike, you must protect your head.

Helmet Required

Keep the momentum and pressure on the pedals even after a hard effort.

Keep pedalling, always

Hold your line and avoid sudden movements. Do your best to keep a consistent speed.

Ride Predictably

Head-on-a-Swivel

Always shoulder check before any lateral movement (moving up or down the track).

Communicate clearly when overtaking with the word “STICK”. If you hear “STICK” hold your line until its safe to move.

Pass on the Right

Keep the Track Clear

Stop only in designated areas like the railing for instructions, then continue riding or remove your bike from the railing.
